Sundial

Before clocks and hourglasses, there were sundials. These timekeepers are often inscribed with wise (and sometimes cheeky!) mottos about life, death & the passing of time. This collection features real 18th century New England grave rubbings lovingly paired with traditional sundial mottos in Latin and English. Carpe diem!
